Presurgical and Postsurgical Rehabilitation

Presurgical Rehabilitation

Participating in a physical therapy program before going into surgery is extremely beneficial and encouraged.  By coming to Camelback Sports Therapy for your “Pre-hab” you’re strengthening your body and getting a leg up on your rehabilitation.  This program is in place to help you build strength, gain as much joint function as possible, and reduce pain and inflammation.  Together, we’ll get you in a good spot to go into surgery confident and well-prepared.  Best of all, we’ll be here for you after surgery to get you back in the game.

Postsurgical Rehabilitation

Physical therapy is prescribed following an orthopedic surgery (such as on the hip, knee, shoulder, wrist, hand, neck, foot, ankle, and back) to facilitate a successful and speedy recovery.  The clinicians at Camelback Sports Therapy are highly trained and familiar with surgical procedures and post-surgical protocols.  We work as a team with you and your physician to make sure you reach your goals. Along the way, you’ll safely progress through an exercise program under our supervision to avoid re-injury and compensation, receive personalized therapeutic treatment, and learn how to prevent injury in the future.

Let our team of highly-skilled, -knowledgeable, and -experienced professionals help you stay in the game.

“Some say that my recovery from knee surgery has been remarkable. If that is true then much is owed to your therapist “Kate.” I owe her much for her patience and guidance.” – Bob F.

“After my surgery my left leg and lower back were tight and pain was on the regular. With the therapy that Jenna provided and exercise, my left leg pain has gone and lower back pain has reduced a lot! I will come back for my quick fix as needed. Thank you!” – Chrissy S.
